PROFILE

 

Mtre Sitoianu is a committed lawyer, dedicated to vigorously defending the rights and interests of her clients. She represents both individuals and corporations before all levels of courts of criminal jurisdiction in Quebec.

 

Since being called to the Bar, Mtre Sitoianu has acted in a wide variety of complex cases, ranging from firearms offences and crimes against the person—such as sexual assault and homicide—to white-collar crime.

Building on extensive experience with complex and lengthy trials, including jury trials, Mtre Sitoianu combines strategic insight with professional rigour to provide her clients with a robust defence.

 

Her commitment extends beyond her legal practice. Mtre Sitoianu has served on the Board of Directors of Communitas, a non-profit organization dedicated to the social reintegration of offenders. She has also contributed to the work of the McGill Innocence Project and Innocence Canada.​
